Subject: Rarity--be grateful!
It seems that as soon as any portion of a show winds up as a DP or another for-profit recording, even the streaming version is blocked from the Internet Archive. Consider "Ladies and Gentlemen: The Grateful Dead": 5 nights on 4 CDs--not a great ratio, which means lots missing. (OK, some is NRPS, but there was way more than 4.5 hours of GD on those 5 nights.) Therefore, when 30% of 12/30/77 appeared on DP 10 but the remainder was allowed to be streamed on IA, just be grateful. Isn't this as it should be? I'm still waiting for the day to hear those missing 8 tracks from the Pembroke Pines 05/22/77 show (aka DP 3).

2 months later and IA has treated us to those missing 8 tracks. THANK YOU, IA!!! Peggy-O, FOTD, BEW!!! No offense meant to a legend but Dick sure missed some gems.

P.S. Charlie Miller, thank you for reading my mind (if not my post) for sneaking in 3 dates of the aforementioned April 1971 Fillmore East shows. Unfortunately, I was asleep at the wheel when the 27th was ripe for picking. Anyone who wants to share, I don't mind lossy and I've got a library of ~150 shows. gratefuldiver11 at gmail.

Uh- Ever hear of Dick's Picks? You know, the series of shows copyrighted and released by a certain band? What we h ave hear are tracks not on DP10- and boy they are fantastic actually- the 1/2 step soars- the He's Gone is top notch- well worth the listen- I am scoring it a 5 for what is here- not what is not here

What is up here? This show has every song except the 5 in the second set that are the best. How can that be? This gets a 1/5 until this gets sorted out!!!
